Por FactBox Admin

The Official Gazette of Aragon publishes this Thursday, August 13, 2026, in its issue 156, the resolution approving the definitive lists of admitted and excluded persons for the selective tests for entry into the Local Police Corps of Aragon, Police category. The resolution, dated July 29, 2026, signed by the Director General of the Civil Service, Antonio Villacampa Duque, additionally summons the admitted persons to the first exercise, the general knowledge test, on September 12 in Zaragoza. The document, included in section II. Authorities and Personnel, bears the official reference BOA20260813011.

This publication closes the admission phase of the unified selective process called by Order HAP/678/2026, of April 24, of the Department of Finance, Interior and Public Administration of the Government of Aragon. The resolution is issued in accordance with base 4.3 of that call and with Decree 127/2026, of July 22, which approves the organic structure of the department, on which the General Directorate of the Civil Service depends. The signing took place in Zaragoza on July 29, 2026.

Where to consult the definitive lists

The definitive list of admitted and excluded candidates is available from today to interested parties through two official channels:

First exercise: September 12, in Zaragoza

The resolution summons the admitted persons, in a single call, to take the first exercise, the general knowledge test. The essential details of the appointment are as follows:

  • Date and time: Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
  • Place: School of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Zaragoza, Ada Byron building, Río Ebro Campus, María de Luna Street, number 1, in Zaragoza.
  • Rooms: A1 to A7 on the ground floor and A11 to A15 on the first floor.
  • Essential requirement: present the national identity document to access the exercise.

Appeal period

Against the resolution, which does not put an end to the administrative route, an appeal for reconsideration may be lodged with the Regional Minister for Finance, Interior and Public Administration within one month counted from the day following its publication. The appeal is governed by the provisions of Articles 121 and 122 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, and Article 64.1 of Law 5/2021, of 29 June, on the Organisation and Legal Regime of the Autonomous Public Sector of Aragon.

The publication of the final lists clears up the uncertainty about who will be able to sit the unified selection process, on which the Local Police posts that the Aragonese town councils hope to fill depend. Those admitted have less than a month to prepare for the general knowledge test, an event that will bring together in Zaragoza candidates from the whole community.
