Judiciary opens competition for three judicial positions in regions

The Administrative Corporation of the Judiciary has announced three public competitions to fill vacant positions in various courts across the country, according to the notice published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Chile No. 44,542, on Friday, September 4, 2026, in Section IV of Tenders, Competitions, Summons, and Loss of Documents (reference CVE 2865372). Interested parties will have a period of ten days from the publication of the notice to submit their credentials.
The vacancies are due to different causes: one promotion, one voluntary resignation, and one appointment, and are distributed among the courts of appeals of Antofagasta, Concepción, and Temuco. All applicants must prove compliance with the legal requirements and enter their credentials through the application portal at www.poderjudicial.cl.

- Secretary of the Court of First Instance and Guarantee of María Elena (Court of Appeals of Antofagasta), Seventh Category of the Primary Scale, grade IX of the Salary Scale for Superior Personnel, vacant due to the promotion of Piero Steven Soto San Martín. Administrative Role No. 811-2026.
- Public Defender of Santa Juana (Court of Appeals of Concepción), Third Category of the First Series of the Secondary Scale, vacant due to the voluntary resignation of Francisco Javier Hermida Brevis. Administrative Role No. 1126-2026.
- Secretary of the Court of First Instance and Guarantee of Toltén (Court of Appeals of Temuco), Seventh Category of the Primary Scale, grade IX, vacant due to the appointment of Juan Elías Yáñez Núñez. Administrative Role No. 1052-2026.
How to apply
The notice states that interested parties must prove compliance with the legal requirements demanded for each position and enter their credentials on the website www.poderjudicial.cl, through the application portal, which provides further information regarding each competition. The reception period is ten business days from the publication of the notice in the Official Gazette.
