Plasencia publishes the definitive lists of the 2025 employment offer.

Por FactBox Admin

The Plasencia City Council has approved the definitive lists of admitted and excluded applicants for the 2025 Public Employment Offer (OEP), which includes ten positions for permanent labor personnel and career civil servants. Six Mayoral resolutions signed on August 10, 2026 and published in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Cáceres on Friday, August 14, 2026 approve the lists, designate the examining boards and set the date and place of the first exercise of each process. The announcements correspond to official references BOP-2026-3861, BOP-2026-3862, BOP-2026-3863, BOP-2026-3864, BOP-2026-3865 and BOP-2026-3866.

The processes began with the publication of the bases in issue 80 of the Cáceres BOP, of April 29, 2026, and the provisional lists were inserted in issue 135, of July 17, 2026. Once the period for filing allegations, submitting documents and correcting errors had elapsed, the Mayor’s Office, competent in matters of employment offer and personnel selection under Article 21.1.g) of Law 7/1985, has declared the admission phase closed. The announcements, signed by the mayor David Casimiro Dóniga Estévez, also order their publication on the electronic site of the city council and on the physical notice board.

Ten positions and 336 admitted applicants

In total, 336 applicants have been definitively admitted and 27 excluded in the six selection processes, which are broken down as follows:

  • Masonry Specialist (3 positions, permanent labor personnel): 19 admitted and 3 excluded. Mayoral Resolution 2026001968 (CVE BOP-2026-3861).
  • Social Worker (2 positions): 53 admitted and 4 excluded. Resolution 2026001970 (CVE BOP-2026-3862).
  • Cleaner (2 positions): 105 admitted and 4 excluded. Resolution 2026001978 (CVE BOP-2026-3863).
  • Library Assistant (1 position, career civil servant): 130 admitted and 16 excluded. Resolution 2026001969 (CVE BOP-2026-3864).
  • Painting Specialist (1 position): 8 admitted and none excluded. Resolution 2026001972 (CVE BOP-2026-3865).
  • Specialist Locksmith Operator (1 position): 21 admitted and none excluded. Resolution 2026001971 (CVE BOP-2026-3866).

The exclusions are due, among other reasons, to applications submitted late, lack of qualification or proof of payment of fees or of a valid exemption, and to failure to provide proof of the 20-hour training course in occupational risk prevention required for masonry.

Schedule of the first exercise

The first exercise of all processes, a multiple-choice test, will be held on the following dates and venues:

  • Masonry: September 10, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at the Associated Center of the UNED in Plasencia (Plaza de Santa Ana).
  • Locksmithing: September 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Youth Center (Puerta de Berrozana, 3).
  • Library Assistant: September 25, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., at the University Center of Plasencia (UEX, Avenida Virgen del Puerto, 2).
  • Painting: September 30, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at the Youth Center.
  • Cleaner: October 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at the Associated Center of the UNED.
  • Social Worker: October 26, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at the Associated Center of the UNED.

Candidates must attend with a blue and/or black pen and their DNI or official identity document. For Library Assistant, the classroom distribution will be published in advance on the municipal electronic headquarters, on the notice board, and at the center itself on the day of the exam.

Examining boards

Each resolution designates a board with a chair, secretary, and members, public employees of the Corporation and of the Administration of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, with holders and alternates. The boards are chaired by Natalia Amaro Martín (Masonry), Paloma García Rubio (Social Worker), Luis Ángel Montes Fernández (Cleaner and Painting), Jesús Jerónimo Mateos Boyero (Library Assistant), and Joaquín Sireno Juanals Sanz (Locksmithing).

With these resolutions, Plasencia’s OEP 2025 passes the admission phase and faces the holding of exams between September and October. The more than 330 candidates summoned must monitor the electronic headquarters of the Plasencia City Council and the physical notice board, where the calls and, where applicable, the classroom distribution will be published. It is a decisive step for the coverage, on a permanent basis, of ten positions in the municipal workforce of one of the main cities of Extremadura.
