Plasencia corrects the electoral campaign premises in Ahigal and La Pesga

The Plasencia Zonal Electoral Board has corrected the errors in the edict published on October 21, 2026, and has once again designated the official premises and public places reserved for the free holding of electoral campaign events. The correction is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres (BOP) on Monday, October 26, 2026, number 0205, page 24399, with the official reference BOP-2026-5017. The text affects the municipalities of Ahigal and La Pesga, the only two listed in the correction.

The edict is signed by the secretary of the Plasencia Zonal Electoral Board, Pablo Núñez Fernández, and is inserted in Section IV of the gazette, dedicated to the Administration of Justice, within the section for electoral boards. The document responds to the obligation of city councils to communicate to the zonal board the premises and public spaces under their ownership available for campaign events, on the occasion of the upcoming General Court elections, called for November 29, 2026.

The text was drawn up and signed in Plasencia on October 21, 2026, and bears an issuance date of October 22, 2026, four days before its publication in the provincial gazette. The correction does not detail the specific error it rectifies: it limits itself to reproducing the list of premises and schedules assigned to each municipality.

Ahigal: two buildings and two open spaces

The municipality of Ahigal will have the following spaces available for campaign events:

• Casa de Cultura (House of Culture), located at Avenida de los Caídos, number 11 A.
• Municipal Sports Pavilion, on Santa Lucía Street.
• Open sites: Plaza Mayor and Plaza del Ejido.
• Schedule: every day, from 20:00 to 24:00 hours.

The reservation includes both a closed building for cultural use and a municipal sports facility, in addition to two public squares for outdoor events. The fixed schedule, from 20:00 to 24:00 hours, is common for all days of the campaign.

La Pesga: the Casa de Cultura from 18:00 hours

In La Pesga, the only listed space is the Casa de Cultura, located in the Plaza de las Eras, available from 18:00 hours. The edict does not mention other premises or open spaces for this municipality, so the reservation is concentrated in a single municipal building with a different start time than Ahigal.

A list remade before November 29

The publication arrives as political organizations in the area finalize the preparation of the campaign for the general elections on November 29. The premises and public places appearing in the edict are those submitted by the city councils themselves to the Plasencia Zonal Electoral Board, which centralizes them and makes them public through the provincial gazette so that parties can request their use free of charge.

The correction is limited to the two related municipalities. The rest of the towns in the area retain the relationship published in the initial edict of October 21, unless they have sent new communications to the zonal electoral board.

For the parties running in the constituency, this edict is the reference that determines where they may hold free campaign events in each municipality, and for the residents of Ahigal and La Pesga, it establishes the spaces and time slots in which political activity will occupy squares, cultural centers, and sports facilities during the weeks leading up to November 29.
