Peraleda de San Román approves a financial plan due to spending deviation

The City Council of Peraleda de San Román has approved an Economic-Financial Plan for the 2026-2027 biennium after closing the liquidation of its 2025 budget with a breach of the spending rule. The agreement was adopted by the municipal Plenary in an ordinary session on September 28, 2026, and was made public in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres number 0192, corresponding to Wednesday, October 7, 2026, with the official reference BOP-2026-4695 on page 22943. The edict is signed by the mayor-president, Marco Gustavo Estrella Verdugo, and is dated October 1, 2026, in the town itself.

For the residents of Peraleda de San Román, the announcement confirms that the 2025 municipal accounts were closed above the permitted spending limit and that the City Council is subject to a correction plan that will condition the preparation and execution of the 2026 and 2027 budgets.
