Perafort initially approves the SAU-S-1 Partial Plan and suspends urban planning licenses

The Plenary of the Perafort City Council, in a session held on September 24, 2026, initially approved the partial urban plan for sector SAU-S-1, promoted by Constructora Lateral 10, SL, and agreed to suspend the granting of urban planning licenses in the affected area. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on October 2, 2026, with the official reference CVE 2026-09154. The document, signed by Mayor Jordi Cacho Pallarès on October 1, 2026, subjects the file to a forty-five-day period of public information.

The planning derived from sector SAU-S-1 is open for public information after the corporation’s Plenary initially approved the document and agreed, “among other things,” to the suspension of licenses “in accordance with the map incorporated into the file.” This suspension prevents, for the duration of the processing, the granting of urban planning licenses within the delimited area of the sector.

The processing is framed within Article 86 bis of the Revised Text of the Urban Planning Law and Article 115.c) of the Urban Planning Law Regulations, which regulate the public information of derived urban planning instruments.
