Penedo do Sil, new beneficiary of the 2026 performing arts and music grants

The Provincial Council of Ourense has included the Asociación Penedo do Sil as a possible beneficiary of the grants for the promotion of performing arts and musical activities for the year 2026, in the category of traditional Galician dance group. The decision was adopted by resolution of the Presidency on September 14, 2026, and was published in the Official Provincial Gazette (BOP) of Ourense on September 30, 2026, in section I, Provincial Council of Ourense, under reference R. 2.274.

The publication is carried out under clause 7 of the call for grants for the promotion of performing arts and musical activities for the year 2026. The regulatory bases of that call were approved by the Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Ourense in the session of January 19, 2026, and were published in BOP no. 14, on January 22, 2026.

According to the decree itself, the Nominative Grants Department examined the application submitted by the entity and verified that it complies with the requirements established in the call. This verification leads to the inclusion of the applicant as a possible beneficiary.

The 2026 Call

The call for grants for the promotion of performing arts and musical activities is an annual line of the Provincial Council of Ourense, endowed with its own regulatory bases approved for each financial year. In the case of 2026, the Governing Board approved those bases in the session of January 19 and ordered their publication in the provincial gazette, which occurred in number 14, corresponding to January 22, 2026.

Clause 7 is the provision that supports the publication of the resolutions for the inclusion of applicants who meet the requirements, such as the one now being disseminated.

The text ends with the formula of disposition and the corresponding public faith, and bears the registration number R. 2.274.

The processing was handled by the Nominative Grants Department, which examined the submitted application.

Inclusion as a possible beneficiary places the Asociación Penedo do Sil within the procedure for granting provincial aid for performing arts and musical activities for 2026. Publication in the official gazette provides publicity to the administrative act and allows for its general knowledge.
