The Mayor of Peguerinos, Asunción Martín Manzano, has delegated all of her functions to the 1st Deputy Mayor Pilar Martín Dompablo during her absence for a vacation period, from August 18 to August 31, 2026, both inclusive. The decision is formalized by Mayoral resolution dated August 14, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila on August 21, 2026 (number 1723/26).

The regulation establishes that deputy mayors substitute for the mayor in all of their functions in order of appointment in cases of absence, illness, or impediment.
Scope of the delegation
The delegation includes the powers of direction and management, as well as the power to resolve administrative procedures through the adoption of administrative acts affecting third parties. During the specified period, Pilar Martín Dompablo will assume the ordinary exercise of the powers of the Mayor’s Office.
- Direction and management of municipal affairs.
- Resolution of administrative procedures and acts affecting third parties.
- Substitution in all functions of the Mayor’s Office.
Information and acceptance obligations
The delegated body must inform the Mayor’s Office a posteriori of the management carried out and of provisions of significance, when requested, in accordance with Article 115 of Royal Decree 2568/1986. For the delegation to be effective, it will require acceptance by the deputy mayor, which will be understood as tacitly granted if an express non-acceptance is not filed with the Mayor’s Office within three business days from notification.
Publication and plenary control
The resolution will be published in the Official Gazette of the Province and its content will be reported to the Plenary of the Corporation at the first session it holds.
