Pedro Rodríguez auctions the pine cones from his plots 35, 36, and 37

The Pedro Rodríguez City Council has called for a public auction for the contracting of pine cone harvesting from public utility forests numbers 35, 36, and 37 corresponding to the year 2026. The announcement, approved by Resolution of the Mayor’s Office, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila on September 14, 2026, number 1825/26, and sets a minimum disposal price of 1,000.00 euros.

The tender is organized as a single lot AV-FRU-0570-2026, with a quantity of 4,000 kilograms of pine cones and a unit valuation of 0.25 euros per kilogram. The specifications are available for review at the municipal offices for eight days for examination and claims, in accordance with the Contracting Regulations of Local Corporations.

Object and modality of harvesting

The harvesting will be carried out at the risk and venture of the successful bidder, with the possibility of collection using vibrating machines, provided that the complementary technical specifications are met. The execution period and timeframe extend from November 11, 2026, to April 10, 2027.

Deadlines and place of submission

Proposals may be submitted to the City Council secretariat during office hours, until eleven-thirty on September 29, 2026. The auction will be held at the municipal offices on the same day, September 29, at eleven-thirty.

• Final bond: 4% of the award value.

Second auction in case of no bidders

If the first auction remains deserted, a new period for the submission of proposals will open from the date of the first until October 2, 2026, at eleven-thirty. The second auction will be held at the City Council offices on October 2, 2026, at the same time.

The auction offers forestry operators in the region the opportunity to acquire the pine cone harvesting rights of three public forests under risk and venture conditions, with an accessible starting price of 1,000 euros.
