Pedro Bernardo tenders the social lease of a municipal dwelling

The Pedro Bernardo City Council has called for tenders for the social lease of a municipal dwelling for social purposes, according to the announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila number 170, dated September 3, 2026 (number 1747/26). The contract will be awarded through competitive bidding and is aimed at families with limited income registered in the Registry of Applicants for Publicly Protected Housing of Castilla y León.

The call, signed on August 26, 2026, by the mayor, David Segovia Muñoz, offers a single-family home located at Paseo Arturo Duperier, 116, ground floor, with 52.99 square meters of built area and 36.44 square meters of usable area. The property consists of a living room-kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a pantry.

Economic conditions of the contract

The maximum rent is set at 150.00 euros per month (1,800.00 euros per year), with the particularity that, if this figure exceeds one-third of the family income, it will be reduced to said limit. The contract will have an initial duration of one year, renewable annually up to a maximum of five years, and requires a security deposit equivalent to one month’s rent.

Applicant requirements

To apply for the housing, interested parties must meet a series of basic conditions outlined in the specifications:

• Be registered in the Registry of Applicants for Publicly Protected Housing of Castilla y León.
• Have family income not exceeding 6.5 times the IPREM.
• Not own or use any other housing in Spain, except for the exceptions regulated in the specifications.

The award will be made through a scoring system by competitive bidding, taking into account social circumstances and special protection, according to the details appearing in the specifications governing the call.

Submission of applications and consultation of specifications

Applications may be submitted within a period of 10 business days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province. The place of submission is the Registry of the City Hall or any of the means provided for in Law 39/2015, accompanied by the application form and the corresponding supporting documentation.
