Pau tenders the concession of the civic center bar for four years

The Pau City Council has opened the tender for the administrative concession for the private use of public domain destined for the management and operation of the bar service at the Pau Civic Center, located at 12 Sant Pere Street. The call, approved by the Local Governing Board in an ordinary session on August 25, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (no. 164, of August 26, 2026), with edict number 7611 and official reference BOP-2026_0_164_7611.

The contract is processed via an open procedure, with ordinary processing and various award criteria, and will be granted for a period of four years, from October 9, 2026, to October 11, 2028, counted from the day after the formalization of the administrative contract. Object and economic conditions

The object of the concession is the private use of the public domain for the management and operation of the civic center’s bar service, a business opportunity aimed at local companies and restaurateurs. The economic and guarantee conditions are established in the specific administrative clauses document:

• Minimum monthly fee: €100.00.
• Provisional guarantee: not required.
• Definitive guarantee: 5% of the total award price.

Award criteria and submission of bids

The award will be made according to the eleventh clause of the specific administrative clauses document, with a double evaluation scale:

• Criteria evaluable automatically, up to a maximum of 90 points.
• Criteria evaluable through value judgment, up to a maximum of 50 points.

Bids may be submitted within a period of fifteen calendar days counted from the day after the publication of the announcement in the gazette, until 3:00 PM, with the documentation detailed in the seventh clause of the document. The opening act of the economic proposals will be public and will take place in the corporation’s Assembly Hall, on the day and time that will be communicated to the bidders.
