Paradas hires a mason officer through internal promotion

The Paradas City Council has hired Juan Ramón Ramírez García as permanent contractual staff with the professional category of 1st Class Mason, effective from August 20, 2026. The decision, adopted by the mayor-president Rafael Cobano Navarrete, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville number 162, dated August 21, 2026, via resolution 733/2026.

The appointment is made under article 21.1.h) of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, and concludes a vertical internal promotion selection process convened to fill a 1st Class Mason position.

An internal promotion selection process

The hiring is the result of a vertical internal promotion procedure, which allows staff from the council itself to ascend within the labor scale. The file began with the approval of the call’s bases and developed over several months:

Conditions of the appointment

Resolution 733/2026, signed on August 19, 2026, provides for the hiring of Juan Ramón Ramírez García (DNI *3365) as permanent contractual staff of the Paradas City Council, with the category of 1st Class Mason and effective from August 20, 2026.

The interested party must take possession of the position within the period established in the selection bases; otherwise, they will forfeit their rights and cease their previous employment relationship with the city council at that moment. The agreement exhausts the administrative route and will be notified to the interested person along with the appeals that may be filed.

Filling this position through vertical internal promotion reinforces the stability of the municipal workforce of Paradas and provides continuity to the public employment offer, allowing for the consolidation of staff already linked to the council.
