Palazuelos de Eresma will host a Territorial Innovation Center in La Fuencisla

The Provincial Council of Segovia has opened for public exhibition the works project for the “Partial rehabilitation of the first floor of the central pavilion for the creation of the Territorial Innovation Center at the La Fuencisla Social Services Center,” located on the Quitapesares estate, in Palazuelos de Eresma. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Segovia, number 103, dated August 28, 2026, within the Contracting and Expropriations section.

The action was approved by Presidency Decree No. 2026-6049, dated August 20, 2026, and is now open for claims for a period of twenty business days, starting from the day following its publication in the gazette.

An investment of 880,419 euros

The project contemplates a total execution budget by contract of 727,619.01 euros (excluding VAT), to which 152,799.99 euros are added as 21% VAT, resulting in a total amount of 880,419.00 euros including VAT.

Period for allegations and legal framework

The public exhibition is processed under Article 93 of Royal Legislative Decree 781/1986, of April 18, which approves the revised text of the legal provisions in force regarding the Local Regime, and Article 83.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

During the period of twenty business days, legitimate interested parties may submit written claims against the project. If no allegations are presented, the project will be considered definitively approved without the need for a new agreement.

A facility for territorial innovation

The rehabilitation of the first floor of the central pavilion of the La Fuencisla Social Services Center will allow it to house the new Territorial Innovation Center, a space oriented toward promoting innovation and development in the rural areas of the province. The action is part of the Provincial Council of Segovia’s strategy to provide municipalities with service infrastructures and economic revitalization.

The creation of this center in Palazuelos de Eresma strengthens the network of provincial facilities and opens the door to new activities in training, entrepreneurship, and territorial cooperation. For the residents of the region, the launch of these facilities represents another step toward the modernization of public services and support for innovation as a driver of local development.
