Palafrugell appoints a technical architect as head of the housing area

The Palafrugell City Council has appointed Estèfan Garcia Moreno as a career civil servant to occupy the position of technical architect and head of the housing area, group A2, effective from September 1, 2026. The decision, adopted by Mayoral Resolution no. 2026/1810 of August 18, is made public through an edict in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (BOP no. 166, of August 28, 2026, edict 7618).

An appointment as a career civil servant

The appointment is processed in accordance with article 82 of Decree 214/1990, of July 30, which approves the Regulations for personnel in the service of local entities. The position corresponds to the special administration scale, technical sub-scale, group A2, and the assigned job position is that of head of the housing area, with a destination supplement level of CD20.

The new holder accesses the position as a career civil servant, which grants them stability in the role and makes them the technical manager of municipal housing management in Palafrugell.

• Appeal for reversal (optional): before the body that issued the act, within a period of one month, before being able to file the contentious-administrative appeal.
