Palafrugell initially approves two ships on Llum Street

The Local Governing Board of the Palafrugell City Council has initially approved the project for the construction of a building intended for two warehouses at Carrer de la Llum, 18, with a contract execution budget of €1,187,979.26 (VAT included). The agreement was adopted in the ordinary session held on September 3, 2026, and has been published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (no. 171, of September 4, 2026), with official reference BOP-2026_0_171_7858.

The project is subject to public consultation for a period of 30 business days, starting from the day after its publication in the BOP, so that any person may submit allegations and claims to the General Registry of the City Council. The processing is based on article 37.2 of Decree 179/1995, of June 13, which approves the Regulations for works, activities, and services of local entities (ROAS).

A project of great economic and industrial impact

The initiative represents an investment of over 1.18 million euros and provides for the construction of two warehouses in a building located at Carrer de la Llum, 18, an urban development action of relevance for the economic and industrial activity of Palafrugell. Once definitively approved, the project must allow for the implementation or expansion of productive activities in the municipality.

During the public exhibition period, the project can be consulted in the following spaces:

  • Urban Planning Area of the City Council, at Carrer Cervantes, 16, Palafrugell, from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays), from 8:30 to 13:30 hours.
  • Electronic Office of the City Council (seu.palafrugell.cat), in the notice board section.

Deadlines and procedure for allegations

The 30-business-day period begins the day after the publication of the notice in the BOP of Girona. Interested parties may submit allegations and claims to the General Registry of the City Council during this period, in accordance with the procedure provided by the ROAS.

The notice is signed by the mayor, Laura Millán Morales, on September 3, 2026, and is published in the Local Administration section of the gazette.
