The Paderne City Council (A Coruña) submits its General Account for the 2025 financial year to public inspection, after being reported on by the Special Accounts Commission on 14 August 2026. The public inspection is carried out under Article 209 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of 5 March, which approves the Consolidated Text of the Local Government Finance Regulatory Law, and Article 212.3 of the same legal text. Content of the General Account
The General Account of the Paderne City Council is composed of the Accounts and Statements established by Article 209 of RDL 2/2004, of 5 March. This financial instrument includes the annual accounts, the balance sheet, and the settlement of the municipal budget for the year 2025, reflecting the economic and financial management of the council during that financial year.
Claims period
Citizens and parties interested in the budgetary management of the Paderne City Council will have 15 days to examine the General Account and submit in writing any objections, claims, or observations they deem appropriate. The period begins the day after the publication of this notice in the BOP, therefore starting on 19 August 2026 and ending on 3 September 2026. This procedure guarantees transparency and democratic control of municipal financial activity.
Submission procedure
Interested parties may submit their observations directly to the Paderne City Council during public service hours. Claims must be submitted in writing, indicating the identity of the claimant and the grounds for their observations, in accordance with the provisions of Article 212.3 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of 5 March and other related provisions.
The publication of this public inspection constitutes an essential instrument of municipal financial transparency, allowing the residents of Paderne to learn about and scrutinise the budgetary management of their council in 2025, and to exercise their right to submit observations before the final approval of the General Account.
