Four appointments, one resignation and two job vacancy announcements by Osakidetza.

Osakidetza-Servicio Vasco de Salud has published four free-designation appointments, one resignation, and two job calls in issue 153 of the Boletín Oficial del País Vasco (BOPV), of August 13, 2026. The posts have been filled at the Amara-Centro, Hernani, and Bidebieta health centres of OSI Donostialdea and at the Bolueta-Sagarminaga unit of OSI Bilbao-Basurto, while the resignation has taken place at OSI Ezkerraldea-Enkarterri-Cruces. The decisions have been signed by the managing directors of the organisations and have been published with official references 2026/3589–2026/3595 of the BOPV.

The free-designation appointments are based on article 28 of Law 8/1997 on the Organisation of the Health System of the Basque Country, together with Decree 186/2005 (functional posts of Osakidetza) and Decree 255/1997. In the procedure, an evaluation committee examines the applications and makes the appointment proposal; the appointments take economic and administrative effect on the day following their publication in the BOPV. The appointing body may remove the postholder at its discretion, in which case the employee is transferred to a similar functional post, retaining their category.

Three new appointments in Donostialdea

OSI Donostialdea has filled three administrative head posts through resolutions of July 7 (BOPV 2026/3591, 2026/3592 and 2026/3593):

• María Izaskun Urbieta Urchipia, Administrative Team Leader of the Amara-Centro health centre (Resolución 6898/2026).
• Amaia Mateos Valiente, Administrative Team Leader of the Hernani health centre (Resolución 6899/2026).
• Amaya Goicoechea Amiano, Administrative Team Leader of the Bidebieta health centre (Resolución 6900/2026).

The three posts have been filled through calls of March 27 (Resolución 4198/2026, 4199/2026 and 4200/2026). The resolutions were signed in San Sebastián by the managing director, María Pilar Sánchez Garduño, acting under delegation (Resolución 1297/2025).

Appointment at Bilbao-Basurto and resignation at Cruces

OSI Bilbao-Basurto has appointed Nagore Maza Berganza as nursing supervisor of the Primary Care Unit of Bolueta-Sagarminaga (Resolución 3634/2026, of July 2), after a process called by Resolución 1536/2026. On the other hand, OSI Ezkerraldea-Enkarterri-Cruces has accepted the resignation of Maider Garmendia Zallo, at her request, as deputy director of Medical Services (Resolución 1859/2026); she was appointed in 2022 (Resolución 59/2022), and the resignation takes effect from June 1, 2026.

Two calls open, with a 15-day deadline

The same issue also publishes two job calls, of the free-designation type; interested parties have 15 working days to submit applications, starting from the day following their publication in the BOPV:

• Third-party Billing Team Lead, OSI Ezkerraldea-Enkarterri-Cruces in (BOPV 2026/3594); applications to the Barakaldo People Management Directorate (Plaza de Cruces 12, 48903).
• Director’s Assistant, Gipuzkoa Mental Health Network (Resolution 425/2026, BOPV 2026/3595); applications to the Donostia Management Directorate (Doctor Beguiristain promenade 115).

In both calls, those holding a permanent post in professional group C2/D2 (statutory, civil servant or labour-contract staff) and with at least two years’ experience in that group may participate; in the case of the Gipuzkoa network, language profile 2 is also required. All resolutions may be appealed by way of an administrative appeal within one month before the General Director of Osakidetza.

These appointments consolidate Osakidetza’s administrative and nursing structure in key areas, and the open calls offer permanent staff the opportunity for internal promotion. As these are positions with a direct impact on patient care, the 15-day application deadlines are short for interested parties.
