Olías del Rey tenders the lease of municipal rural estates

The City Council of Olías del Rey has announced a tender for the lease of municipally-owned rural estates intended for agricultural use, according to the announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Toledo, number 168, dated September 3, 2026. The tender is based on the agreement adopted by the Local Government Board on August 19, 2026, and covers a total area of 110,170 square meters distributed across eight plots.

The call, signed by Mayor María del Rosario Navas Cabezas on August 21, 2026, is part of the management of municipal agricultural heritage and opens the door for farmers and livestock breeders in the region to access public land under a lease agreement.

Object and Offered Area

The tender comprises eight estates distributed across different locations within the municipal district, with a total usable area of 102,792.50 square meters. The offered plots are as follows:

Los Barranquillos, polygon 502, plots 51 and 52 (1,500 and 1,790 m²).
Maja Olías, polygon 503, plot 50 (1,210 m²).
Los Siete Valles, polygon 512, plot 3 (15,690 m²).
Las Traviesas, polygon 512, plots 15 and 16 (21,140 and 26,510 m²).
El Hinojal, polygon 512, plot 34 (19,800 m²).
El Bercial, polygon 513, plot 23 (22,530 m²).

Tender Conditions

The lease will be formalized for a maximum term of four years, and the sole award criterion will be the highest offered rent. The minimum rent upon which bidders must submit their offer is set at 894.36 euros per year, excluding taxes.

The deadline for the submission of offers will be ten business days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the provincial gazette. Proposals must be submitted to the General Registry of the City Council, during public office hours, in two sealed envelopes signed by the applicant and containing the documentation indicated in the specifications.

Processing and Access to Documentation

The specifications and all relevant documentation will be available to interested parties on the City Council’s electronic office (https://oliasdelrey.sedelectronica.es) and at the municipal offices. The act of opening the offers will be public and will be announced in due time on the Corporation’s notice board and on its electronic office.

The call represents an opportunity for the local agricultural sector to access public land under competitive conditions, while allowing the municipality to monetize its rural heritage. The award based on the highest offered rent encourages competition among interested parties and ensures the transparency of the process.
