OIRSA tenders expansion of bioassay laboratory in Chiriquí

The International Regional Organization for Agricultural Health (OIRSA) opened the international public tender LPI-FEP09_891-CHIRIQUI-2026, titled “Construction of the expansion of the bioassay laboratory module and adaptation and improvements to the conference room in Chiriquí – MIDA.” The notice was published in La Gaceta, Official Gazette No. 181 on Monday, October 5, 2026, under reference Reg. 2026-00940, and sets the deadline for submission of bids as October 30, 2026.

The process is convened by the Nicaraguan representation of the regional organization, based in Managua, and is aimed at construction companies in the region interested in sanitary infrastructure works. Scope of work

The contractual object comprises two main components in the Panamanian province of Chiriquí:

The construction of the expansion of the bioassay laboratory module.
The adaptation and improvements to the conference room.
The recipient entity of the infrastructure is MIDA (Ministry of Agricultural Development of Panama).
