Ogueta puts the lease of eight rural plots out to tender

The Ogueta Neighborhood Council, in the municipality of Condado de Treviño (Burgos), has opened a public tender via an open procedure for the lease of the agricultural use of eight rural plots in polygon 508. The competition, detailed in the economic-administrative clauses document published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 171, dated September 9, 2026, sets a bidding price of 420.00 euros per year and a contract term of five years.

The announcement, signed by Mayor Francisco Saracíbar Sáenz in Ogueta on August 14, 2026, is included in section III of Local Administration of the gazette and bears the official reference BOPBUR-2026-03588. The file and the specifications are available for review by interested parties at the municipal offices of the Condado de Treviño City Council.

Object of the contract and plots

The object of the file is the lease of the agricultural use of eight rural estates located in the town of Ogueta, all within polygon 508:

Plot no. 3, La Larra site, 28,501 m² (26,929 m² arable).
Plot no. 93, Fuente Nueva site, 4,527 m² (4,420 m² arable).
Plot no. 97, Sarratur site, 34,642 m² (33,840 m² arable).
Plot no. 104, Cerezo site, 3,394 m² (3,520 m² arable).
Plot no. 109, Mari Se site, 3,783 m² (4,120 m² arable).
Plot no. 118, El Chopo site, 5,605 m² (5,626 m² arable).
Plot no. 137, Barlas site, 4,408 m² (4,220 m² arable).
Plot no. 149, Crucimen site, 1,358 m² (1,400 m² arable).

Duration, price, and guarantees

The contract will have a duration of five years, starting upon the signing of the contract and ending on September 15, 2031. The bidding price is set at 420.00 euros per year for the total square meters of the plots.

The successful bidder must pay the first annual installment within fifteen days from the notification of the award agreement, while the remaining years shall be paid before September 30 of each campaign. If the amount has not been paid by that date, the contract will be automatically terminated with the loss of the final deposit. The final guarantee will amount to 5% of the award amount and must be established within five days following the award.

Submission of proposals

Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope at the local offices of the Junta Vecinal de Ogueta, in accordance with the bidding model of the specifications, during the fifteen calendar days following the publication of the announcement in the bulletin, from Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 14:00 hours. If the final day falls on a Saturday or a holiday, the deadline shall be extended to the next business day. Proposals submitted by mail are also accepted, provided that the date of posting is certified and the submission to the Junta Vecinal is announced on the same day.

Natural or legal persons, Spanish or foreign, with full legal capacity and economic, professional, and technical solvency under the terms of articles 43 and 49 of the Public Sector Contracts Law, may apply. The required documentation includes a photocopy of the ID (DNI), a sworn statement confirming that the applicant is not subject to any causes of incompatibility, proof of the provisional deposit, accreditation of registration with the Agricultural Social Security, a power of attorney deed where applicable, and the economic proposal.

The call for proposals represents an opportunity for farmers in the Condado de Treviño region, who may access farmland in plot 508 under public competition conditions and with an annual fee set at 420 euros. The submission period, open from the publication of the announcement, determines the calendar for the next agricultural campaign in the area.
