Occupation of the Cordel de Granada livestock route for the Las Quemadas solar plant

The Territorial Delegation of Sustainability and Environment in Córdoba, of the Regional Government of Andalusia (Junta de Andalucía), has agreed to open a public information period regarding the occupation file for the livestock route “Cordel de Granada”, in the municipality of Córdoba, for the installation of the “Las Quemadas” solar photovoltaic plant. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 176, dated September 11, 2026, and allows any person to examine the file and submit allegations for one month.

The procedure, with reference VP/1660/2025 (T0424), is promoted by the company Catalina Solar SL and affects a public domain asset such as the livestock route, whose traditional livestock use is conditioned by the photovoltaic project.

Regulatory Framework

The processing is based on Article 14 of Law 3/1995, of March 23, on Livestock Routes (BOE No. 71, of March 24), and Article 48 of Decree 155/1998, of July 21, Livestock Routes Regulations of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia (BOJA No. 87, of August 4). The competence attributed by Decree 226/2020, on the provincial territorial organization of the Junta de Andalucía, Decree 170/2024, on the organic structure of the Ministry, and Decree 579/2022, on the appointment of the territorial delegate, is exercised.

The agreement is also issued in accordance with Article 83 of Law 39/2015, on Common Administrative Procedure, and Article 13.1.e) of Law 1/2014, on Public Transparency of Andalusia.

During the public information period, the documentation will be available electronically on the Junta de Andalucía Portal, in the Transparency and Active Publicity section of the Ministry of Sustainability and Environment. It can also be consulted in person at the offices of the Territorial Delegation:

Submission of Allegations

Allegations, addressed to the head of the body adopting the agreement, may be submitted through the General Electronic Registry of the Junta de Andalucía, at any registry of the Ministry of Sustainability and Environment, or at any other administrative registry, without prejudice to the provisions of Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015. The deadline is one month from the publication of the announcement in the gazette.

The agreement was signed in Córdoba on July 17, 2026, by the territorial delegate, Rafael Martínez Ruedas.
