Sergas publishes the offer of destinations for the 2026 transfer competition

The General Directorate of Human Resources of the Galician Health Service has approved and published the offer of destinations for the open and permanent transfer competition for the provision of basic positions in the 2026 allocation cycle. The resolution, signed on August 10, 2026, appears in the Official Gazette of Galicia (Diario Oficial de Galicia) no. 159, of August 24, 2026 (p. 46373), and opens a period of fifteen calendar days for professionals to modify their selection of destinations.

The procedure is framed within the bases of the open and permanent transfer competition approved by the resolution of November 20, 2017 (DOG no. 227, of November 29), modified by the resolution of April 25, 2023 (DOG no. 86, of May 5). The offer is addressed to the statutory personnel of the public health system of Galicia in the health, management, and services categories, and was negotiated in the corresponding sectoral table according to base 3.5.2 of the call.

Deadline and modification procedure

According to base 7.1, professionals listed in the list of participants will have fifteen (15) calendar days, counted from the day following the publication in the DOG, to modify the selection of destinations made in their participation form through Fides/Expedient-e.

• Modifications shall be submitted via electronic registry and will not require the submission of documentation.
• The last modification submitted within the deadline will be taken into account.
• Those who were provisionally admitted and did not select any destination may do so now within the same period.
• Applications that do not contain at least one destination will be automatically excluded from the cycle.

Positions with specific requirements

Professionals opting for destinations that require specific qualifications must register their possession in Fides/Expedient-e, under the heading “Other merits,” and provide documentary accreditation within the same fifteen-day period. Those who fail to do so will not be eligible for those positions.

The list also includes positions “with tutoring,” in accordance with article 8.3 of Decree 48/2023, of April 20, on the organization of the specialized health training system. The professional opting for them must be accredited as a tutor within a maximum period of one year from taking office; otherwise, they will lose the definitive destination and must participate in the following annual cycle.

The list of offered positions by category and center is published on the Galician Health Service website (www.sergas.es), in the Public Employment/Transfer Competition/Open and Permanent Transfer Competition 2026 section. It can also be consulted in the personal electronic file of each applicant in Fides/Expedient-e, in the Processes section.

The resolution, signed by Begoña Caamaño del Castillo, general sub-director of Professional Management, by delegation of powers (Agreement of 7/31/2026), comes after the publication of the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates for the cycle, approved by the resolution of July 31, 2026 (DOG no. 149, of August 10).
