O Saviñao notifies the debts of the Home Help Service for July

The Saviñao City Council approved the register of the public price for the provision of the Home Help Service corresponding to the month of July 2026, by means of Mayoral Resolution no. 2026/0387, dated September 4, 2026. The collective notification of the debts is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo (BOP Lugo no. 208, of September 11, 2026), and opens a voluntary collection period of two months, after which unpaid debts will be demanded through the enforcement process.

The publication serves as collective notification to all taxpayers included in the register, in accordance with the provisions of tax regulations. The register is open to the public for fifteen days starting from the day following its publication in the BOP de Lugo, and can be consulted at the Social Services offices of the City Council.

Regulatory framework and issuing body

The approval of the register is based on article 14.2 of the Recast Text of the Law regulating Local Treasuries, and the collective notification complies with article 102.3 of Law 58/2003, of December 17, general tax law. The collection of receipts is governed by articles 24 and 25 of the General Collection Regulations, approved by Royal Decree 939/2005, of July 29, as well as by article 22 of the municipal regulatory ordinance of the Home Help Service and article 5 of the ordinance of the public price for the provision of the service.

The announcement is signed by the mayor, Juan Carlos Armesto Quiroga, in Saviñao on September 4, 2026, and bears the official reference R. 2405.

Deadlines and collection procedure

Users of the service must take into account the established deadlines and payment methods:

• Voluntary collection period: two months starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the BOP de Lugo.
• Public exhibition of the register: fifteen days from the day following the publication, for consultation at the Social Services offices.
• Appeal for reversal: one month from the day following the end of the exhibition period, before the competent body of the City Council.
• Direct debit receipts: persons who have direct debit receipts will have the amounts debited from their respective bank accounts.

Notice of enforcement

The announcement expressly warns that debts resulting from the failure to pay the public price will be demanded in accordance with the provisions of tax legislation through the administrative enforcement procedure. This implies that, after the voluntary period has elapsed without the receipts being paid, the Administration may initiate the executive route for the collection of the amounts owed.

The collective notification affects the users of the Home Help Service of the municipality, an essential home care service, for which compliance with payment deadlines is key to avoiding surcharges and the initiation of the enforcement procedure. Interested parties may consult the register at the Social Services offices of the City Council of Saviñao during the public exhibition period.
