The Plenary of the Irixo City Council has definitively approved the General Budget for the 2026 financial year, which amounts to 1,716,488.40 euros in both expenditures and revenues. The agreement was adopted in the extraordinary plenary session of September 15, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense on September 29, 2026, with the reference R. 2.213. Along with the accounts, the plenary approved the execution bases and the council’s personnel framework.

The process began with the initial approval of the budget in the extraordinary plenary session of August 6, 2026. The publication is made in accordance with article 169.3 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the revised text of the Law regulating local finances. The budget is balanced: the sum of expenditures and revenues coincide in the same amount.
