The Galician Institute for Economic Promotion has publicized the 21 conventions and collaboration agreements it signed in the first and second four-month periods of the 2026 financial year, with a joint economic commitment of 8,815,601.29 euros distributed among the annual installments of 2026 and 2029. The list is published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) no. 213, dated Friday, November 6, 2026, by means of the Resolution of October 27, 2026, from the General Directorate of the organization, signed by Covadonga Toca Carús (reference CVE-DOG: mmwuale2-tje4-gno7-byg5-qgy81rf1vog4).
The publication responds to the mandate of article 15.2 of Law 1/2016, of January 18, on transparency and good governance (published in DOG no. 30, of February 15, 2016), which requires each department and instrumental entity to publish a list of the signed conventions in the regional official gazette. The annex to the resolution details, for each convention, the date of signature and the amounts committed for each annual installment, and distinguishes three agreements without financial contribution.
Of the total, the greatest annual effort is concentrated in 2026, with 3,065,690.76 euros, while 3,276,712.14 euros are committed for 2027, a total of 2,343,198.39 euros for 2028, and another 130,000 euros for 2029.
Financing for SMEs and entrepreneurship hubs
The convention to enable a support framework for access to financing for small and medium-sized enterprises, signed between Igape and the reciprocal guarantee societies (SGR), is the piece most directly aimed at the productive fabric: 300,000 euros in 2026 and 450,000 in 2027.
The same line of support for the business scale is reinforced with the Galicia Avanza program for the acceleration of the internationalization of SMEs, developed with the Sociedade Parque Tecnolóxico de Galicia, S.A. for the 2026 and 2027 calls, with 65,010.76 euros in the first year, 599,784.14 in 2027, and 505,598.39 in 2028.

Added to these are 60,000 euros in 2026 and 80,000 in 2027 with the Galician Logistics Function Cluster for the logistics optimization strategy.

The improvement of executive skills is channeled through an agreement of 148,100 euros between Igape and the Association for the Progress of Management (APD), the Galician Circle of Entrepreneurs Association, the Association Club of Entrepreneurs and Executives of Galicia (Nordés), and the Santiago Financial Club (CFS). The University of Santiago de Compostela receives 50,000 euros to adapt Galicia to the European Union’s new economic and competitiveness strategy, and Corporación Voz de Galicia, S.L.U. receives another 125,000 for content regarding the Galician business and industrial map. These are completed by an agreement without contribution with the Association of Female Executives of Galicia and an addendum, also at no cost, extending the collaboration with Banco Santander, S.A. in the Economic Office of Galicia.
