The Provincial Housing Commission of Pontevedra, dependent on the Galician Institute of Housing and Land (IGVS), has agreed to initiate the selection process for the awardees, in second and subsequent allocations, of three qualified public promotion dwellings in the historic neighborhood of Vigo, under a rental regime. The decision was adopted in the session of September 29, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) number 193, of October 9, 2026, with the official reference CVE-DOG: 3c12qqd1-j437-6vb4-jzl0-7msz2qonbab2. The Commission agreed to the urgent processing in accordance with article 33 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, in order to reduce the deadlines and avoid the prolonged vacancy of the dwellings, except for those relating to the submission of applications and appeals. The resolution is signed by José Manuel González González, president of the Provincial Housing Commission of Pontevedra.
The publication opens the access route to public rental housing in the historic neighborhood of Vigo for young applicants already registered, who have until the lottery on October 30 to keep their registration current, an essential requirement to maintain the right to allocation.
