European financing and framework of the procedure
The grants are co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the Galicia Feder 2021-2027 program, which links the expenditure to the European structural funds assigned to Galicia. The call covered the fiscal years 2026, 2027, 2028, and 2029, with processing under a non-competitive competition regime.
The competent body is the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion, dependent on the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Xunta de Galicia, and the resolution is signed by its general director.
The exhaustion of the credit closes the available public financing route for company attraction projects to Galicia within this call, a relevant circumstance for investors and for the business fabric that planned installations or expansions under the IG408H procedure. From now on, any new project must wait for an eventual new call or other Igape support lines.
