The DOG publishes the grants for women's associations in the four provinces

The Official Gazette of Galicia publishes today, September 21, 2026, in issue 179, the four resolutions that close the granting procedure for the subsidies of program SI437A in the provinces of A Coruña, Lugo, Ourense, and Pontevedra. The resolutions, issued by the territorial departments of the Department of Social Policy and Equality, grant nearly 243,000 euros to women’s associations and federations throughout Galicia. The call stems from the Order of May 11, 2026, published in DOG no. 98 on May 28.

The order establishes the regulatory bases and the call for the year 2026 for aid intended to promote associationism and the participation of women, processed under a competitive bidding regime according to article 1.3 of the bases and article 19.1 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies in Galicia. The call is divided into two lines: line 1, for the consolidation of the associative movement, compensates for the current maintenance and operating expenses of the associations and their federations; line 2 focuses on the prevention and care of gender-based violence within the associative fabric, with special emphasis on rural women, older women, and those in situations of vulnerability, within the framework of the State Pact against Gender-Based Violence.

To finance the aid, a total credit of 343,166.61 euros from the general budgets of the Autonomous Community for 2026 is allocated: 180,000.00 euros for line 1 (application 08.07.313B.480.0, project 2016 00020) and 163,166.61 euros for line 2 (application 08.07.313D.480.2, project 2025 00050). The applications were reviewed by the equality units of the territorial departments according to the registered office of the entities, amended, and forwarded to the Evaluation Commission created in article 13.2 of the bases; the instructing body submitted the proposal to the head of the territorial department, who resolved by delegation of the regional minister (sole additional provision of the order). Publication in the DOG produces the same effects as notification, in accordance with article 45 of Law 39/2015, of October 1.

Four resolutions, four provinces

• A Coruña: resolution of August 28, 2026, signed by the territorial director María Blanco Aller, published on p. 49628 (reference CVE-DOG: euimiop7-clb5-ydb4-xbg0-81v1ugansi56); 21 beneficiary entities and 83,347.04 euros.
• Lugo: resolution of August 31, 2026, by the territorial director Óscar Viñas Penelas, p. 49636 (CVE-DOG: yo6umu91-8hy4-ph21-pp19-58vqzuktnsg4); 11 entities and 35,567.36 euros.
• Ourense: resolution of September 2, 2026, by the territorial director Santiago Álvarez González, p. 49643 (CVE-DOG: byvqpec3-is78-vdu9-ehy6-tnyziihynnw5); 36 entities and 78,054.02 euros.
• Pontevedra: resolution of August 31, 2026, by the territorial director of Vigo Mª Ángeles Rouco Fernández, p. 49653 (CVE-DOG: wez84eg2-ase1-hhp1-enb6-emzpx3ezguu5); 11 entities and 45,799.61 euros.

The entities and the scores

• A Coruña: Asociación de Familias Monomarentais de Galicia (FAGAMOS), file SI437A-2026-00000026-01, 5,000.00 euros and 75 points, the best provincial score; Asociación Punto Delas-Secretaría das Mulleres (SI437A-2026-00000003-01), 4,970.89 euros and 72.5 points; Federación de Asociacións de Mulleres Rurais de Galicia (SI437A-2026-00000007-01), 5,000.00 euros and 71 points.
• Lugo: Bumei Galicia: Buenas Prácticas, Mujer, Empleo e Inclusión (SI437A-2026-00000011-02), 6,000.00 euros and 89 points in line 2; Asociación de Mulleres Empresarias da Provincia de Lugo (SI437A-2026-00000008-02), 4,375.68 euros and 61.5 points in line 1.
• Ourense: Asociación escola rural de saúde da Limia (SI437A-2026-00000013-03), 5,000.00 euros and 77 points; Asociación de mulleres rurais Os Picotiños (SI437A-2026-00000028-03), 2,923.24 euros and 87 points with the program Tecendo Igualdade en Esgos.
• Pontevedra: Asociación Diagnosticadas de Cancro de Mama e Xinecolóxico (SI437A-2026-00000009-05), 5,000.00 euros and 74 points; Asociación Mulleres Rurais e Culturais Santa Mariña (SI437A-2026-00000004-05), 1,712.84 euros and 69 points.

Annex II also includes the excluded and withdrawn applications, including those of Asociación Rede de Mulleres Veciñais contra os Malos Tratos de Vigo and A Morada Nosa, Sociedade Cooperativa Galega, denied for not being a beneficiary entity according to article 4.1 of the bases.

Deadlines and obligations of the entities

• Acceptance of aid: ten days from publication; if no communication is received, it will be understood as tacitly accepted.
• Justification: October 16, 2026 for line 1 and December 11, 2026 for line 2.
• Eligible expenses: generated between October 1, 2025 and September 30, 2026 (line 1) and between December 1, 2025 and November 30, 2026 (line 2).
• Single payment after accrediting the action; the aids are compatible with other subsidies, without exceeding the cost of the activity.
• Appeals: reconsideration within one month or contentious-administrative within two months before the High Court of Justice of Galicia.

The four resolutions exhaust the administrative route and close a call that mobilizes nearly 71% of the planned credit, with an unequal distribution among provinces: Ourense concentrates the highest number of entities, while A Coruña receives the largest volume of money. For the beneficiary associations and federations, the justification deadline is now the critical element, as payments depend on the documentation submitted before October 16 or December 11 depending on the line.
