The City Council of A Coruña appoints 13 career civil servants

The City Council of A Coruña appoints 13 people as career civil servants in the position of administrative officer, general administration scale, administrative subscale, subgroup C1, with definitive assignment. The decision was adopted by the delegated councilor responsible for Economy and Strategic Planning, José Manuel Lage Tuñas, by delegation of the Local Government Board, through a resolution dated August 6, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña number 159, on August 21, 2026 (announcement 2026/5455).

Appointment and definitive assignment

The candidates, ordered according to the final score obtained in the selection process, acquire the status of career civil servants and receive a definitive assignment. The resolution, signed in A Coruña on August 17, 2026, lists in the annex the 13 appointed persons, specifying the assigned position.

Taking office and requirements

To acquire the status of career civil servant personnel, the appointed persons must meet the requirements demanded in Article 60 of Law 2/2015, of April 29, and take office within one month, which will begin to be counted from the day following the publication of the appointment resolution in the BOP.

Appeals against the resolution

In accordance with the provisions of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure, and Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction, the following may be filed against the resolution, which ends the administrative route:

• Optional appeal for reversal within one month before the same body that issued it.
• Contentious-administrative appeal within two months before the competent body of the contentious-administrative jurisdiction.

In the event of filing an appeal for reversal, the contentious-administrative appeal may not be filed until the former is expressly resolved or its presumed dismissal occurs.
