The BOP fixes in Rois the payment of the expropriations of the Lousame-Tivo LAT

The Territorial Department of A Coruña, under the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Xunta de Galicia, has designated November 3, 4, 5, and 6, 2026, for the payment of fair prices and interest for expropriation and the imposition of rights-of-way for the LAT 220 kV DC Lousame-Tivo power line in the municipality of Rois. The agreement, signed on September 15, 2026, by the territorial director Isidoro Martínez Arca, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña no. 182, dated September 23, 2026, in the Autonomous Administration section, under reference 2026/6077.

The call is processed through the Energy and Mines Service and complies with Article 48.1 of the Compulsory Expropriation Law of December 16, 1954, as well as Articles 48.2, 49, 50, and 51 of its Regulation of April 26, 1957. The procedure corresponds to file IN407A 2010/268-1, relating to the electrical transmission installation called LAT 220 kV DC Lousame-Tivo, and the beneficiary entity is Red Eléctrica de España, SAU, which assumes the payment of fair prices and interest.

Four payment days in the Municipality of Rois

Payment is concentrated over four consecutive days in November at the municipal offices of Rois:

• November 3, 4, 5, and 6, 2026.
• Starting from 9:30 AM.
• Location: offices of the Municipality of Rois.
• Payer: Red Eléctrica de España, SAU, as the beneficiary entity of the installation.
• Object: fair prices and interest for expropriation and the imposition of rights-of-way.

Recipients and individual notification

The agreement is addressed to the persons proposed as owners or holders of rights over the properties affected by the power line. These individuals will receive individual notification to this effect, in addition to the official publication of the announcement.

When the owners or holders of rights over the affected properties are unknown, if the notification address is unknown, or if notification has been attempted but could not be carried out, an announcement of the call will be published on the single notice board (TEU) of the Official State Gazette.

Precedent in the municipalities of Teo, Brión, and Padrón

This is not the first call of this type within the same file. The Territorial Department of A Coruña had already designated, by agreement of August 11, 2026, October 20, 21, and 22, 2026, for the payment of fair prices in the municipalities of Teo, Brión, and Padrón, at the offices of the respective municipalities and also starting from 9:30 AM.

That announcement was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña no. 155, dated August 17, 2026, under reference 2026/5361, and affected the same LAT 220 kV Lousame-Tivo installation and the same file IN407A 2010/268-1. The sequence shows an expropriation process advancing by municipality along the route of the line.

This publication is of direct interest to anyone who owns properties affected within the municipal district of Rois, as the exact dates for appearing and collecting payment are now available. Appearing on the scheduled dates is the final step to complete the payment of fair prices and rights-of-way; therefore, any owner or rights holder who does not receive an individual notification should keep an eye on the single notice board of the Official State Gazette.
