Oña updates its inventory after rehabilitating the barracks and the school

Por FactBox Admin

The Oña City Council has approved, by plenary agreement adopted on July 29, 2026, the file for the update of its asset inventory, which incorporates two recently intervened municipal properties. The decision is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 156, dated August 19, 2026, and opens a twenty-day period for the submission of allegations.

The update responds to the need to reflect in the municipal heritage the works carried out on two public buildings, whose technical projects were drafted by the architect Mr. Pablo Benito Carrillo. The procedure is based on Royal Decree 1372/1986, of June 13, which approves the Regulations on Assets of Local Entities, regulating the formation and updating of the inventory of municipal assets.

Two rehabilitated properties

The file incorporates into the inventory two properties on which rehabilitation projects have been carried out:

  • Former barracks, at calle Ronda no. 25 in Oña, with cadastral reference 6418801VN6361N0001WT, intervened according to the project “Rehabilitation of the former barracks intended for social housing in Oña.”
  • San Salvador early childhood and primary education center, at calle Torrejón no. 9, with cadastral reference 5615518VN6351S0001EO, on which work has been carried out according to the project “Rehabilitation and partial conditioning of the public school intended for entrepreneurship and digital innovation in Oña (Burgos).”

Period for allegations

In accordance with the regulations on assets of local entities, the file is displayed for general knowledge. During the period of twenty days, it may be examined at the municipal offices of the Oña City Council and any allegations deemed pertinent may be formulated. The announcement was signed on August 7, 2026, by the mayor-president, Belén Paramio Vila.

Impact on the municipality

The update of the inventory legally consolidates two significant investments for Oña: the commissioning of social housing in the former barracks and the transformation of the school into a space oriented toward entrepreneurship and digital innovation. Both actions reinforce the housing offer and local economic development, and their registration in the municipal inventory guarantees the correct management and control of public heritage.
