Nules announces two vacancies for General Administration Technician

The Nules City Council has approved the call and the regulatory bases for the selection process for the permanent filling of two General Administration Technician (TAG) positions, through a competitive examination system (concurso-oposición). The resolution, adopted by Decree 2026-2939 of July 31, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Castellón number 104, of August 29, 2026, with official reference 03848-2026-U and file 5415/2026.

The positions belong to the General Administration Scale, Technical Subscale, Group A, Subgroup A1, and are included in the ordinary Public Employment Offers for the 2025 and 2026 fiscal years. One position is filled via the open track and the other via the reserve track for persons with disabilities; additionally, the process includes the creation of a temporary job bank.

Positions and tracks announced

The process is framed within the 2025 and 2026 PEOS, published respectively in BOP 62, of May 24, 2025, and in BOP 29, of March 7, 2026, with their corresponding announcements in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana.

• One position for TAG (A1) via the open track, RPT number 189, motivated by structural needs.
• One position for TAG (A1) via the reserve track for persons with disabilities, RPT number 5.
• If the reserved position remains vacant, it will be added to the open track, with the obligation to compensate for the reserve in the next public employment offer in accordance with Royal Decree 2271/2004.

Requirements and submission of applications

To participate, it is necessary to meet the requirements of Article 56 of the TREBEP (Legislative Royal Decree 5/2015), including holding a university degree (Licenciatura or Grado) in Law, Political Science, Economics, or Business Administration and Management. For the disability track, a recognized degree of disability equal to or greater than 33 percent is required.

• The deadline for submitting applications will be twenty business days from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official State Gazette.
• Applications shall be submitted electronically through the municipal electronic office (nules.sedelectronica.es).
• Examination fees amount to 70.20 euros, without bonuses or exemptions, according to the Fiscal Ordinance published in BOP 96, of August 8, 2024.

Phases of the selection process

The competitive examination procedure consists of three mandatory and eliminatory exercises in the examination phase, with a total of 90 points, plus a merit phase of up to 10 points.

• Exercise 1 (30 points): multiple-choice test of 60 questions, with 0.50 points per correct answer and a deduction of 0.15 per error, in 60 minutes.
• Exercise 2 (30 points): written development of two topics chosen from three drawn by lot, with mandatory reading before the tribunal.
• Exercise 3 (30 points): preparation of two reports with a proposed agreement on practical cases.
• Competition phase (10 points): professional experience (maximum 5 points) and other merits, including training, passing selective processes, and knowledge of Valencian (maximum 5 points).

The tribunal will consist of a minimum of five members, and the order of appearance for the applicants will begin with the letter P. Those who pass the process without obtaining a position, or at least the first exercise, will join the temporary job pool for future vacancies.

Impact for applicants

The call opens an opportunity for access to the local civil service for higher degree holders from the entire province, with a specific shift that guarantees the participation of people with disabilities. The publication of the summarized announcement in the BOE and the DOGV expands the dissemination of the process, and the entirely electronic processing facilitates the submission of applications from any location.
