New manager at the Galician Forestry Industry Agency

The Department of Economy and Industry has resolved the call for the provision, through the system of free appointment, of the position of manager of the Galician Forestry Industry Agency, awarding it to María Purificación Lloret Ares. The decision was formalized by the Order of August 24, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of Galicia number 162, of August 27, 2026, in the section for competitive examinations and contests.
The position had been previously called by the Order of July 20, 2026, published in DOG number 140, of July 28, 2026, and its resolution responds to the mobility procedure for career civil servants of the regional Administration.
Regulatory Framework
The award is based on article 92 of Law 2/2015, of April 29, on public employment in Galicia, and article 27 of Decree 151/2022, of August 4, which approves the Regulation of mobility procedures for career civil servants. The regional minister María Jesús Lorenzana Somoza signed the order in the exercise of the powers conferred by article 17.2.c) of the aforementioned law.

Deadlines for Cessation and Taking Office
The cessation from the current destination will occur within a period of three (3) business days from the publication of the order, according to article 8 of Decree 151/2022. The taking of office in the new destination will be three (3) business days if it does not imply a change of residence, or seven (7) business days if it entails a change of residence. In the case of reentry into active service, the period will be one month from publication.
The calculation of the possession periods will begin when the granted permits or licenses end, and in cases of temporary disability from the date of discharge. Against the order, which exhausts the administrative route, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed within one month or a direct challenge before the contentious-administrative court within two months.
The filling of this high-ranking position, with level 30, reinforces the management of the Galician Forestry Industry Agency, a key body for the planning and promotion of the Galician forestry sector, one of the strategic axes of the regional economy.
