The Logroño Zonal Electoral Board has made public the list of official premises and public spaces provided free of charge by 91 town councils within the constituency for holding general election campaign events. The agreement was signed by the head of the body, María José Martín Argudo, in Logroño on October 16, 2026, and was published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja no. 203, dated October 21, 2026, under the official reference BOR-A-20261021-III–3974. The announcement spans seven pages and includes everything from plenary halls and former schools to fronton courts, sports centers, and public squares.

The text is published under the heading “General elections: official premises and public places for the holding of electoral campaign events,” with file number 202610160125065, and responds to the obligation of city councils to offer free-of-use spaces for electoral propaganda. The list covers 91 municipalities within the jurisdiction of the Logroño Zonal Electoral Board, from the capital and Nájera to small villages in the Cameros mountains and the Iregua valley.

The dates cited in the document place the activity between November 13 and 27, 2026, with schedules that vary by municipality and, in some cases, extend until 10:00 p.m.

Logroño concentrates the highest capacity spaces

The Logroño City Council makes the Municipal Auditorium, the Espacio Lagares, and three municipal sports centers available to the parties, with specific reservation conditions:

  • Municipal Auditorium: November 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, and 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; approximate capacity of 791 people, with 783 seats and 8 spaces for wheelchair users.
  • Espacio Lagares (calle Ruavieja, 18): November 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; 120 people standing or 80 seated.
  • Las Gaunas Municipal Sports Center (calle República Argentina, 66): Friday November 20 and 27 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; 1,077 grandstand seats and between 180 and 280 on the court.
  • General Espartero Municipal Sports Center (avenida de España, 13): Saturday November 14, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; 369 grandstand seats and 696 on the court.
  • Gonzalo de Berceo Municipal Sports Center (calle Estambrera, 28): Sundays November 15 and 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; 326 grandstand seats and 300 on the court.

Capacities and conditions of use

Outside the capital, the venues with the largest capacity are the municipal fronton of Nájera (avenida La Rioja, 7), with 900 people, the cultural hall of Alesanco (calle Escuelas, 5), for 400, and the sports center-fronton of Hormilla, with 500. At the opposite end are small spaces such as the hall of Almarza de Cameros (25 seats), the room of Villoslada de Cameros (50), the town hall of Ventrosa (50), and the schools of Viniegra de Abajo (150).

In Logroño, use is free and cleaning is the responsibility of the user, who must have it completed before 8:00 AM the following day in the case of sports centers. The reservation of these facilities requires written confirmation at least eight days in advance, and the court capacity is calculated at 1.5 square meters per person, with 0.25 square meters per standing spectator when stages are installed.

Prior request and one excluded municipality

Several town halls condition the granting of the space to prior notice to avoid overlaps with other events: Almarza de Cameros, Anguiano, Daroca de Rioja (prior call), Matute, Tobía, Villoslada de Cameros, and Sotés, which refers to telephone 941 441700. Robres del Castillo expressly states that it does not participate in the posting of posters or in electoral acts.

The publication also details singular schedules, such as the retirees’ home of Arrúbal (10:00 to 15:00 and 20:30 to 22:00), the plenary hall of Laguna de Cameros and that of Muro en Cameros (10:00 to 18:00 every day), or the cultural center of Torrecilla en Cameros (19:00 to 22:00).

The list provides parties and candidates with a complete map of available and free spaces in the constituency, and allows residents to know which municipal facilities will host campaign events and at what times, with the details of capacities and reservation requirements set by each town hall.
