Noia approves public employment offer with twelve positions

The Noia City Council has approved its public employment offer (OEP) for the year 2026, consisting of a total of twelve positions, of which eight correspond to civil service personnel and four to permanent contractual staff. The decision was adopted via Mayoral Resolution number 1926, dated July 13, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of Galicia number 158, on Friday, August 21, 2026 (pages 46204-46205).
The offer, signed by Mayor Francisco Pérez Caamaño, covers both the general administration scale and the special administration scale, and includes positions accessible via open competition and via competition-examination. Most of the vacancies are aimed at filling technical posts and essential services for the municipality in the Barbanza region.
Civil service positions
The civil service block is divided into four scales and classification groups, with access primarily through open competition:
- General Administration Technician (ADL), group A1 — 1 position, open competition.
- Technical Architect, group A2 — 1 position, open competition.
- Local Police, group C1 — 3 positions, open competition.
- 1st Class Works Official, group C2 — 1 position, open competition.
- Administrative Assistant, group C2 — 1 position, open competition.
- Library Assistant, group C2 — 1 position, competition-examination.
Contractual staff positions
The permanent contractual staff includes four positions, all within the special administration scale, special services sub-scale:
- Cello Teacher, group II — 1 position, competition-examination.
- Civil Protection Supervisor, group IV — 1 position, open competition.
- Library Assistant (50% working day), group IV — 1 position, open competition.
- Water and Sanitation Operator, group V — 1 position, open competition.
Framework and processing
The offer is part of the annual public employment planning of the Noia City Council and was approved by the Mayor’s Office on July 13, 2026. The publication in the Official Gazette of Galicia provides official publicity for the call, which will unfold in the coming months with the opening of the corresponding selection processes.
