Nervión announces 39,500 euros in grants for citizen organizations

The Seville City Council has approved the guidelines and the public call for the granting of subsidies, on a competitive basis, to citizen entities of the Nervión District for their 2026 Specific Projects. The call, endowed with 39,500.00 euros, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville number 169, dated Tuesday, September 1, 2026, through the extract of the corresponding resolution.
The decision originates from the Governing Board of the city of Seville, which delegates to the Second Deputy Mayor, Delegate for Cartuja, Innovative Parks, Mobility, Economy and Trade and President of the Municipal Board of the Bellavista-La Palmera District, who signs resolution number 5544. Object and purpose of the call
The call seeks to support the citizen entities of the District with the aim of strengthening and consolidating the associative movement, encouraging citizen participation in public affairs. Beneficiary entities and requirements
Non-profit citizen entities that meet the following requirements may apply for the aid:
- Have their headquarters within the scope of the Nervión District.
- Be registered in the Municipal Registry of Citizen Entities of the Seville City Council.
- Have among their objectives the defense of the general or sectoral interests of the residents of Seville.
- Not be exclusively of a political, trade union, commercial, or religious nature.
Regulatory framework and application deadline
The call is governed by Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, the Regulation of the General Law on Subsidies approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, the Budget Execution Guidelines of the Seville City Council, Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure, and the General Ordinance of Regulatory Bases for competitive subsidies of June 16, 2005.
Applications may be submitted within a period of 20 calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the call in the official gazette. Relevance for the District
This call for applications strengthens the associative fabric of Nervión, one of the most densely populated districts in Seville, and consolidates the channel through which neighborhood entities can finance projects of general interest.
