Por FactBox Admin

The Government of Navarra has approved the second call for the grant “Complementary international mobility grants for the 2025-2026 academic year”, aimed at university students participating in exchange programs such as Erasmus. The call is published in the Official Gazette of Navarra number 181, dated September 14, 2026, via Resolution 287E/2026, dated August 24, by the Director General of Universities, Eva Perujuániz Bermúdez, with code BDNS 926088.
The measure is a direct contribution from the regional Executive to promote the international projection of students from Navarrese universities and Navarrese citizens studying at other Spanish universities. It falls under the Department of University, Innovation and Digital Transformation, which authorizes an expenditure of 150,000 euros charged to budget line G10001-G1100-4800-322300 (“Exchanges with foreign universities: Erasmus and others”).
Amounts and distribution
The total budget allocation for the call amounts to 150,000 euros, divided between the two study modalities:
- 120,000 euros for grants requested by Undergraduate students.
- 30,000 euros for those requested by Master’s students.
If one of the modalities does not exhaust its allocation, the remaining amount will increase the funds available for the other. Two grant modules apply: a base of 120 euros per month and 30 euros per week for all beneficiaries, and a supplement of up to 200 euros per month and 50 per week for those who prove a special condition.
Requirements and beneficiaries
Students enrolled in a Spanish university in undergraduate or official master’s degrees who have participated in an international mobility program during the 2025-2026 academic year may apply for the grants. They must be natives of Navarra or have been registered as residents in the community for at least the two immediately preceding years.
The additional supplement is granted to those who prove any of the following circumstances:
- Being a beneficiary of a general study scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports or from the Government of Navarra scholarship in the 2024/2025 academic year.
- Having a recognized disability of 33 percent or higher.
- Belonging to a single-parent or large family.
- The family unit receiving a guaranteed income benefit.
- Being a victim of terrorism or gender-based violence.
- Having refugee status.
Deadline and processing
The application period is 15 calendar days, counting from the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of Navarra. Applications are submitted electronically through the “Complementary aid for international university mobility programs” file in the Procedures Catalog of the www.navarra.es portal, using cl@ve identification or a digital certificate.
The maximum completion date of the stay that will be considered for the calculation and payment of the aid is November 30, 2026. Beneficiaries must justify the stay with the “Final Stay Certificate” within 15 days of its completion. These grants are incompatible with other complementary aids granted for the same purpose by other autonomous communities.
This second call expands the funding opportunity for those who did not obtain a place in the first, including the waiting list, and reinforces the commitment of the Government of Navarra to the internationalization of students, a key factor for the employability and academic projection of Navarrese youth.
