Nava de Arévalo rectifica la subasta de piñas de los montes 30, 31 y 32

The Nava de Arévalo City Council has rectified the announcement for the disposal of pine cone harvesting rights for Public Utility Forests nos. 30, 31, and 32 for the year 2026, after detecting a material error in the initial call. The correction, signed by Mayor Juan Rodríguez Galán on September 4, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) of Ávila no. 174, dated September 9, 2026, under number 1800/26.

The original announcement appeared in BOP de Ávila no. 171, dated September 4, 2026, and set the auction date for fifteen business days from its publication. The rectification replaces that period with a different schedule, exercising the powers attributed by Article 109 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

The new auction schedule

The call, approved by Mayoral Decree of August 27, 2026, and declared urgent, keeps the procedure open with a single award criterion but corrects the auction date. According to the rectified text:

  • The auction will be held on the third business day counting from the day following the end of the deadline for submitting proposals.
  • The deadline for submitting proposals is fifteen calendar days.
  • The auction will take place at 1:00 PM.
  • The award will go to the most economically advantageous offer, through an open procedure and a single award criterion.

Object and scope of the harvesting

The disposal affects the pine cone harvesting of Public Utility Forests nos. 30, 31, and 32 within the municipal district of Nava de Arévalo, a forest resource of interest for timber harvesting and local residents. The rectification does not alter the object of the contract or the award procedure, but only the auction schedule, which now depends on the end of the proposal period instead of the publication date of the announcement.

Relevance for interested parties

The correction is decisive for potential bidders, as it modifies the timing of the auction and, therefore, the window for preparing offers. Since it is linked to the closing of the fifteen-calendar-day proposal period, the exact date of the auction will depend on when the last offer is submitted, requiring interested parties to stay attentive to the procedural calendar of the file.
