Narón presents the modification of the list of job positions to the public

The Narón City Council has initially approved the modification of the staff establishment (RPT) of the council itself and the Culture Board (Padroado de Cultura) corresponding to the 2026 financial year. The agreement was adopted by the municipal Plenary in an extraordinary session on September 16, 2026, and was made public in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña (BOP) number 180, dated September 21, 2026, under announcement number 2026/6050. From the day following publication, the file will be available for review at the council’s General Secretariat for 20 business days so that legitimate interested parties may submit any claims they deem appropriate.

The initial approval is carried out in compliance with the provisions of article 202.2 of Law 2/2015, of April 29, on public employment in Galicia, and corresponding provisions. This precept regulates the procedure for modifying the staff establishments of Galician local administrations, which requires the public exhibition of the agreement before its final approval.

The announcement, signed by Mayor Marian Ferreiro Díaz in Narón on September 16, 2026, is inserted in the Local Administration section, Municipal heading, under the rubric of the municipal Secretariat, and occupies a single page of the provincial gazette.

The agreement and its legal basis

The modification of the RPT is the instrument through which the council organizes its job positions: posts, classification, functions, and remunerative conditions of the personnel. In this case, the agreement jointly covers the structure of the Narón City Council and that of the Culture Board, a body linked to the council entrusted with the management of municipal cultural activities.

Who is affected by the open deadline

The period begins to count on September 22, 2026, as the edict is inserted in the bulletin of the 21st, and ends once the 20 business days have elapsed. Until the procedure is resolved, the agreement maintains the status of initial approval and is not definitive.

Publication in the provincial bulletin gives general validity to the procedure and ensures that any person with a legitimate interest can become aware of and challenge the reorganization before it is consolidated. For the staff of the Narón City Council and the Culture Board (Padroado de Cultura), the open period is the only opportunity to allege against the new configuration of their positions and conditions before final approval.
