Níjar displays the water, sewage, and garbage registry for the fifth two-month period

EMANAGUA, Empresa Mixta Municipal de Aguas de Níjar, S.A. has submitted for public review the census for the fifth bimester of 2026 regarding the public water supply, sewerage, purification, and urban solid waste collection fees for Zone 1, which includes Campohermoso, Las Negras, San José, and Puebloblanco. The announcement, signed by the manager María Vigueras Vílchez, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Almería no. 188, dated September 29, 2026, under reference 2613/26 on page 12. The voluntary payment period extends for two months, from September 23 to November 23, 2026.

The procedure is supported by the tax ordinances regulating the public water supply, sewerage, and purification fees, as well as the urban solid waste collection fee, the latter in the capacity of collector. The municipal mixed-ownership company, linked to the Níjar City Council, manages the integral water cycle within the municipality and previously published the census for Zone 2 corresponding to the fourth bimester of 2026 in the Official Gazette of the Province no. 167, dated August 31, 2026 (reference 2382/26), with a voluntary payment period between August 25 and October 23, 2026.

Public exhibition and claims period

The announcement sets the public exhibition of the census for a period of fifteen business days, starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the provincial gazette. During this period, interested parties may examine the documentation at the service’s Public Attention offices, located at Avenida de la Constitución, number 157, in San Isidro (Níjar).

Those who deem it appropriate may file any claims they consider pertinent with the same service within the specified period.

Concepts and liquidated periods

The census groups four municipal fees, all referring to the fifth bimester of 2026:

• Public water supply fee: fixed service fee and variable consumption fee.
• Sewerage fee: fixed fee and variable fee.
• Purification fee: fixed fee and variable fee.
• Urban solid waste collection fee: collection, transport, and treatment of garbage.

Voluntary payment and executive proceedings

The voluntary payment period will be two months, between September 23 and November 23, 2026. Debts that are not settled by the end of this period will be demanded in accordance with current legislation, which opens the executive proceedings with the corresponding surcharges and interest.

The announcement was signed in Níjar on September 24, 2026, by the company manager, María Vigueras Vílchez.

The publication directly affects the bills of residents in Campohermoso, Las Negras, San José, and Puebloblanco, who have until November 23 to pay without a surcharge and have fifteen business days from the day following the publication to review their settlement and file claims.
