Fine of 49,181 euros for a community due to occupational hazards

The General Directorate of Labor of the Government of the Canary Islands has made public the sanction of 49,181.00 euros imposed on the Comunidad de Propietarios Residencial La Caleta for a very serious infringement regarding occupational risk prevention. The resolution, signed on September 1, 2026, by the Director General of Labor, José Ramón Rodríguez Albertus, is published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands number 182, dated September 10, 2026, once the sanction has become final.

The infringement report was issued on June 15, 2026, and the sanction became final on August 26, 2026, from which point the competent body is obliged to make it public.
The competence to issue the resolution corresponds to the Director General of Labor by virtue of article 12.2.f) of Decree 37/2024, of March 4, which approves the Organic Regulation of the Ministry of Tourism and Employment.
