Moraleda de Zafayona announces the exam for 21 home care assistance positions

The City Council of Moraleda de Zafayona has approved the final list of admitted and excluded applicants for the competitive examination to fill 21 home care assistant positions, as full-time permanent contractual staff. The resolution is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada number 209, dated October 28, 2026, with official reference BOP-GRA-2026-209019. The same announcement summons the admitted applicants to the examination phase, which will be held on October 29, 2026, at 4:00 PM.

The announced positions are listed under classification group C2, professional category of assistant, and designation of home care assistant, assigned as full-time permanent contractual staff. The deadline for submitting applications expired on September 10, 2026, as stated in the municipal agreement itself.

On October 8, 2026, the provincial gazette published the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants, which opened a ten-business-day window for excluded applicants to rectify the defects that led to their exclusion. Once that process was completed and the submitted documentation examined, the City Council now approves the final list in accordance with Article 20 of Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10, and Article 21.1.g) of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, as well as the regulatory bases of the procedure.

Final list and consultation channels

The municipal resolution approves the final list of admitted and excluded applicants and orders its publication on the notice board and on the transparency portal of the City Council of Moraleda de Zafayona, where the complete lists can be consulted. The same dissemination extends to the municipal electronic office, accessible at moraledadezafayona.sedelectronica.es, and the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada.

The official announcement does not reproduce the nominal details of the applicants in the provincial gazette; therefore, individual consultation of the results must be carried out through the electronic channels provided by the City Council.

Exam on October 29 at Ruiz Carvajal

The examination phase will be held according to the following summons:

• Date: October 29, 2026.
• Time: 4:00 PM.
• Location: Ruiz Carvajal Public School, calle Carretera del Turro, number 33, Moraleda de Zafayona. The resolution refers to the center as Ruiz Carvajal Rural Public School when scheduling the tribunal session.
• Attendees: applicants who have passed the screening of the final list of admitted candidates.

At the same act, at the same time and in the same location, the evaluation tribunal is summoned to its constitutive session and to the development of the examination phase.

Composition of the evaluation tribunal

The City Council has appointed the members of the selection body for the 21 positions, including principals and alternates:

• Chairperson: Ms. Almudena Ariza Ordóñez, with Ms. Nuria González Campaña as alternate.
• Member: Ms. María del Carmen Gómez Muñoz, with Ms. Mercedes Portillo Bautista as alternate.
• Member: Ms. Pilar Díaz Díaz, with Ms. Sindia Fernández Ortiz as alternate.
• Member: Mr. Antonio Pérez Crespo, with Ms. Ana Belén Capilla Martín as alternate.
• Secretary: Mr. Antonio Javier Luque Aguilar, with Mr. Fermín Nogales Ariza as alternate.

The resolution orders that the agreement be notified to the appointed members and that both the final list and the composition of the selection board be published in the provincial bulletin and on the municipal electronic office.

Appeal Deadlines

Against the resolving act, an optional appeal for reversal (recurso potestativo de reposición) may be filed before the same body that issued it within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court within two months. Both periods are calculated from the day following notification or publication, without prejudice to any other appeal that the interested parties deem appropriate. If the appeal for reversal is chosen, the contentious-administrative appeal cannot be filed until the former is expressly resolved or a presumed dismissal occurs.

The culmination of this process entails the incorporation of 21 full-time permanent workers into the municipal home care service of Moraleda de Zafayona, establishing a stable workforce for the care of dependent persons in the municipality. For the applicants, the appointment on October 29 is the final stage of a procedure that began with the call for applications and has extended over more than a month of admission and correction procedures.
