Mora de Rubielos opens the reform of its power line for public consultation

The Provincial Service of Teruel of the Department of Economy, Competitiveness and Employment of the General Deputation of Aragon has opened for public review the request for prior administrative and construction authorization for the renovation project of the medium voltage line LAMT 20 kV “Mora”. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Teruel on September 15, 2026, number 176, under reference No. 2026-2605, and opens a 30-day period for the submission of allegations.

The action, promoted by the distributor Edistribución Redes Digitales SLU (holder B82846817), responds to the impact that the new layout of the A-228 road has on the electrical infrastructure supplying Mora de Rubielos. The processed file is TE-SP-ENE-AT-2026-015.

Object and scope of the renovation

The project consists of the renovation of the medium voltage overhead line LAMT 20 kV “Mora” between the new support to be installed number 118 and the existing transformation center Z81151 “Mora Bº Aliagarico”. The installation is located in the municipality of Mora de Rubielos, in the province of Teruel, specifically in polygon 6.

Regulatory framework and period for allegations

The procedure is carried out in accordance with Article 125 of Royal Decree 1955/2000, of December 1, which regulates the activities of transport, distribution, marketing, supply, and the authorization procedures for electrical energy installations. The publication is also carried out for the purposes of notification provided for in Article 45 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on common administrative procedure.

Interested parties have thirty days from the day following the publication of the announcement to examine the project and formulate any allegations they deem appropriate. The file can be consulted at the Provincial Service of Teruel, located at calle San Francisco, 1, 44001 Teruel.

How to submit allegations

Allegations must be addressed to the Provincial Service of Teruel of the Department of Economy, Competitiveness and Employment, at the indicated address, stating as a reference “Public information. High Voltage Renovation LAMT 20 kV ‘Mora’ between new support to be installed no. 118 and existing CT Z81151 ‘Mora Bº Aliagarico’, File no. TE-SP-ENE-AT-2026-015”. The announcement is electronically signed in Teruel on September 2, 2026, by the Director of the Provincial Service, Ms. Lucía Villalba Valenzuela.

The reform ensures the adaptation of the electrical grid to the new road layout of the A-228, a key action to preserve safety and the continuity of supply in Mora de Rubielos and its surroundings. Public participation in this process allows residents and affected parties to become acquainted with the project and file objections before the final authorization is granted.
