Opening of the reception of preliminary backgrounds

The MOPT announces the opening of the reception of preliminary backgrounds corresponding to Phase 1 of Public Tender No. 01-2026. The notice is published once and is identified by the official reference IN202601129362, whereby the call for bids acquires official publicity and the countdown of the deadlines provided in the bidding documents begins.

Object of the contract and scope of the study

The contractual object is the preparation of the “Household Origin-Destination Study of the Greater Metropolitan Area for the creation of a transport model.” The survey is conducted in households within the GAM, and its results feed the transport model that the institution will use for sector planning.

The publication in La Gaceta grants official publicity to the procedure and opens the stage for the reception of preliminary backgrounds, prior to the subsequent phases of the public tender.

Impact for readers

The origin-destination study is the technical basis for sizing the travel patterns of households in the Greater Metropolitan Area and for constructing the transport model that will guide road planning and public service decisions in the region. Those interested in participating have until November 26, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. to submit their bids to the MOPT Institutional Procurement Office.
