Montorio tenders the lease of its rural estates

The Montorio City Council has opened a public tender for the lease of its rural estates, according to the announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 163, dated August 28, 2026. The contract, approved by agreement of the Municipal Plenary on April 13, 2026, will have a duration of five agricultural campaigns, from the campaign starting in 2026 until 2031, with the possibility of a one-year extension.
The tender is processed via a competitive bidding procedure and is governed by the specific economic-administrative terms and conditions approved by the Plenary. Bids may be submitted during the 8 calendar days following the publication of the announcement in the provincial gazette.
Object and conditions of the contract
The object of the contract is the lease of the rural estates indicated in the reference specifications, for a bidding rate for each lot as set out in the specifications themselves. The contracting entity is the Montorio City Council, with the processing of the file and obtaining of documentation at the municipal Secretariat.
- Provisional guarantee: 80 euros.
- Definitive guarantee: 5% of the award amount.
- Duration: five agricultural campaigns (2026-2031), extendable for one more year.
- Procedure: public tender.
Submission and opening of bids
Bids shall be submitted in two sealed envelopes, in accordance with the provisions of the specifications, applying article 14 of Law 39/2015 on Common Administrative Procedure. The opening of bids will take place at 10:00 AM on the first Monday following the end of the submission period.
