Their origin is divided between two budget years:

  • Two vacancies from the 2025 public employment offer, approved by resolution of the Mayor’s Office on June 23, 2025, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 129, of July 7, 2025, modified by resolution of May 4, 2026 (gazette number 92, of May 14, 2026).
  • One vacancy from the 2026 public employment offer, approved by resolution of the Mayor’s Office on May 18, 2026, and published in gazette number 102, of May 28, 2026.

Requirements and application deadline

The deadline for submitting applications is twenty business days starting from the day following the publication of the call in the Official State Gazette. Applications are to be completed via the municipal electronic office (www.montilla.es, “selection processes” section) and the examination fees amount to 23 euros.

Applicants must meet, among others, the following requirements:

  • Spanish nationality, without prejudice to the provisions of article 57 of the TREBEP.

  • Possess the functional capacity to perform the duties of a 1st Class Electrician Official.
  • Hold a Compulsory Secondary Education graduate degree or equivalent.

Two eliminatory exercises and qualifying tribunal

The process consists of two mandatory and eliminatory exercises, with a maximum final score of 20 points:

  • First exercise: a 50-question questionnaire with three alternative answers on common and specific subjects, in a maximum of 60 minutes, with 0.20 points per correct answer and no penalty for errors.
  • Second exercise: one or several practical cases on the specific syllabus, in which knowledge, skill, and professional experience will be assessed.

The Evaluating Board will be composed of at least five people, with the Secretary having a voice but no vote, and will be of the third category in accordance with Royal Decree 462/2002, of May 24. The order of appearance for the candidates will begin with the letter “Ñ”, according to the draw published by resolution of February 13, 2026, of the General Directorate of Human Resources and Public Service (BOJA number 33, of February 18, 2026).

Relevance for candidates

The call opens a stable access route to municipal public employment in a technical trades profile, with three positions added to the staff of the Montilla City Council. Interested parties must formalize their application exclusively through the municipal electronic office within the fixed deadline, as submission outside of this channel is considered a non-remediable defect and determines exclusion. The resolution bears the signature of the Mayor, Rafael Ángel Llamas Salas, and an appeal for reversal may be filed against the rules before the Mayor’s Office within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Córdoba within two months.
