Montemayor opens 6,000 euros in local emergency aid until December
Por FactBox Admin

The Montemayor City Council has opened the line for granting subsidies to individuals and families without sufficient economic resources as a result of emergency situations, within the 2026 Local Emergency Program. The call, endowed with 6,000 euros, was approved by plenary agreement on September 24, 2026, and is published as an extract in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 204, dated October 21, 2026, with reference BOP-A-2026-3543 and identification BDNS 936094. The deadline for submitting applications will remain open until December 31, 2026.
Legal framework and origin of the call
The announcement is supported by articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17, which require the publication of the extract of the call and the submission of the full text to the National Subsidies Database, where it can be consulted using the identifier 936094.
The program is defined in the announcement itself as an extraordinary mechanism intended to “contribute in an effective manner to resolve the difficult economic situations” in which the population residing in Montemayor finds itself as a consequence of the evolution of the economic situation. The text appears signed in Montemayor on October 19, 2026, by the Mayor-President, Antonio García López, and features the Secure Verification Code BDD9FD96336D36FB7C0A.
Budget distribution by aid lines
The 6,000 euros are distributed across four lines of action, as detailed in the published extract:
- Line 1 – Basic needs: 3,500 euros, the largest item in the program.
- Line 2 – Housing needs: 1,100 euros.
- Line 3 – Aid for the birth of children: 600 euros.
- Line 4 – Emergencies: 800 euros.
The largest allocation, therefore, corresponds to the support of basic needs, which concentrates more than half of the total available budget.
Deadline, place of submission, and form of granting
Applications may be submitted until December 31, 2026, with a period opening from the day following the publication of the extract in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba. The enabled channel is the Registry of the Montemayor City Council.
The granting regime will be direct and will be resolved through a report issued by the community social services dependent on the IPBS, which will determine the nature of the aid to be granted and its amount. Therefore, it is not a competitive procedure based on scoring, but rather an individual technical assessment of each accredited situation of need.
Impact for residents
The call for applications reaches a municipality that is facing the close of the fiscal year with a social emergency system of limited scope but operational until the end of the year. For residents in vulnerable economic situations, the program opens four specific avenues of support—food and basic supplies, housing expenses, births, and unforeseen emergencies—with direct processing at the municipal registry and without the need to compete against other applicants. The budget limit of 6,000 euros and the distribution by lines condition, in practice, the number of files that can be attended to before December 31.
