Montehermoso approves 53,277 euros for the furniture and construction of its coworking space

The Montehermoso City Council has initially approved a credit modification file for the amount of 53,277.87 euros destined for furniture, climate control, and civil works for the municipal “Coworking” space. The decision was adopted by the Plenary in a session held on September 29, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres on Thursday, October 1, 2026, with the official reference BOP-2026-4552.

A credit supplement charged to the surplus

The plenary agreement initially approves the credit modification file no. 1449/2026 – MC-48/2026 SCRT of the current Budget, in the form of a credit supplement. The operation is fully financed by the Treasury surplus for general expenses from the previous year, according to the details published in the announcement.

The file is processed in compliance with the provisions of article 169.1, by referral of 177.2, of the Revised Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5. The announcement is signed by the mayor-president, Rosa Isabel Garrido Hernández, in Montehermoso, on September 29, 2026.

Distribution of expenditure by concept

The credit supplement is distributed among three expenditure applications:

• Furniture: 9,149.64 euros (economic application 623.01).
• Climate control: 11,533.04 euros (economic application 622.01).
• Civil works: 32,595.19 euros.
• Total: 53,277.87 euros.

In the revenue chapter, the modification is covered by the Treasury surplus for general expenses, for the identical amount of 53,277.87 euros, which appears as the total revenue of the file.

Fifteen days of public information

Once the file has been initially approved, the announcement is submitted for public information for a period of fifteen days, counting from the day following its publication in the BOP. During this period, any interested person may examine it at the municipal offices and submit any allegations they deem appropriate.

The documentation is also available to interested parties on the electronic headquarters of the Montehermoso City Council (http://ayuntamientodemontehermoso.sedelectronica.es). If no allegations are presented after the deadline, the agreement will be considered definitively approved.

Impact for the municipality

The operation provides real financing, without resorting to new debt, for a municipal facility aimed at hosting economic activity and remote work in Montehermoso. As it is an initial approval subject to public information, the file may still receive allegations before its definitive approval; therefore, the execution schedule for the works and the installation of the furniture will depend on the closure of that procedure.
