Montederramo calls for grants of up to 70 euros per student for school supplies

The Montederramo City Council announces grants for the acquisition of school materials for the 2026-2027 academic year, with a fixed amount of up to 70.00 euros per student. The call was approved by Mayoral Decree 2026-0433, dated September 16, 2026, and its extract is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense on September 21, 2026, in section IV. Local Entities. Families have one month, counting from the day following the publication, to submit the application.

The publication is made in accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3 b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general law on subsidies. The announcement bears the signature of the mayor, Óscar Diéguez González, and the official reference R. 2.233.

Requirements and beneficiaries

Parents or those exercising legal guardianship or custody of students enrolled in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education and/or ESO (Secondary Education) may apply for the grant. The requirements are:

• That one of the parents or guardians be registered (empadronado) in the Montederramo City Council and at the same address as the student on the date of publication of the bases.
• That the student be registered in the municipality and at the same address as the applicant.
• That the applicant be up to date with tax obligations with the State Tax Agency, the regional agency, Social Security, and the Montederramo City Council.

In the case of parents with several children, a single application shall be submitted.

Subsidizable material

The bases consider subsidizable school materials, among others, textbooks, small workbooks, writing and drawing notebooks, sheet music, maps, cardstock, handicraft blocks, colored paper, plasticine, modeling clay, plastic rolls for covering books, sheets of paper, pens, pencil cases, markers, wax crayons, paints, temperas, watercolors, highlighters, corrector, glues, children’s scissors, paper clips, compasses, erasers, sharpeners, folders, binders, transparent sleeves, rulers, basic calculators, dictionaries, pencil cases, and backpacks.

Uniforms, sports material and clothing, staplers, ink cartridges, and all electronic material are excluded: computers, USB drives, printer ink and toner cartridges, printers, Dymos, ebooks, digital platforms, and any other computing device.

Amount, deadline, and form of presentation

The amount of the grant is a fixed sum of up to 70.00 euros per student. The deadline for submitting applications is one (1) month starting from the day following the publication of the announcement of the extract of the bases in the provincial gazette.

Applications can be submitted through several channels:

• In person at the General Registry of the Montederramo City Council, using the model provided in Annex I of the rules.
• Electronically through the municipal electronic office (montederramo.sedelectronica.gal).
• By any of the means provided for in Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1; in this case, the supporting documentation of the submission must be sent to the email concello.montederramo@eidolocal.es on the same day.

Documentation to be provided

Along with the application (Annex I), signed by the parent or guardian, the following must be presented:

• Copy of the DNI of the applicant.
• Copy of the family book or equivalent document.
• Certification from the school center or proof of enrollment for the 2026-2027 academic year.
• Bank account ownership certificate of the applicant.
• Copy of the regulatory agreement or judicial sentence in case of divorce, separation, or equivalent document proving custody of the minor, if applicable.

The submission of applications implies the unconditional acceptance of the rules by the applicants.

The measure arrives with the school year already underway and covers three educational stages, from Preschool to ESO, with a fixed amount per student that directly relieves the September expenses for families registered in the municipality. The one-month deadline from publication in the bulletin sets a short window: those who let the following weeks pass will lose the aid for the 2026-2027 academic year.
