Montalbán definitively approves the 2026 municipal budget

The City Council of Montalbán de Córdoba has definitively approved the General Budget for the 2026 fiscal year, which shows a surplus of 11,000.00 euros. The decision, adopted by Mayor Miguel Ruz Salces, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 167, dated August 28, 2026, pages 12740 to 12743, with reference BOP-A-2026-2945 and file GEX No. 2026/2321.

Definitive Approval

The budget was made available to the public in accordance with Article 169.3 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the revised text of the Law regulating Local Treasuries. Following the public exhibition period without any claims being filed, the General Budget is considered definitively approved.

The document, signed on August 18, 2026, includes the summary of the budget by chapters and the budgetary personnel roster, which lists numerous vacant positions.

Civil Service Staff

The career civil service staff roster presents several vacancies, including:

• Administrative Assistant (2 vacant positions, group C1, destination supplement 22)
• Municipal Library Manager (vacant, C1)
• Administrative Auxiliary (vacant, C2)
